Battle Creek Firearms Co. provides lawful, reliable shipping services for customers purchasing firearms, ammunition, and accessories both locally and nationwide. Because many of the products we sell are regulated under federal, state, and local laws, shipping procedures must follow strict compliance requirements. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, where items may be shipped, and the legal responsibilities associated with firearm transfers.
By placing an order with us, you agree to follow the terms described below.
Final Sale Notice
All sales are final. We do not offer returns or refunds for any reason. Customers are responsible for confirming product details, legal eligibility, and shipping information before completing a purchase.
Shipping Damage And Warranty Claims
Any damage that occurs during shipping must be addressed directly with the shipping carrier. If a product is believed to be defective after delivery, warranty service must be handled directly through the manufacturer according to their policies and procedures.
Order Processing
Orders are processed after payment has been received and verified. Most in-stock items are prepared for shipment within a reasonable business timeframe. Processing times may vary due to product availability, compliance verification, holidays, or high order volume.
Before shipment, we may contact you to confirm:
Billing or identity information
Shipping details
FFL dealer information for firearm purchases
Compliance with state or local laws
Delays may occur if required information is incomplete or cannot be verified.
Firearm Shipping Requirements
All firearms and serialized receivers must be shipped in accordance with federal law. Firearms cannot be shipped directly to a non-licensed individual. Every firearm purchase must be sent to a valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer for transfer.
Customers purchasing firearms must:
Select or provide a licensed FFL dealer
Ensure the dealer agrees to receive the transfer
Provide accurate dealer contact information
Complete all required background checks and paperwork at pickup
We will ship the firearm only after receiving a valid copy of the receiving dealer’s FFL and verifying compliance.
Ownership transfer occurs at the FFL dealer’s location, not at the time of shipment. The receiving dealer may charge separate transfer or background check fees, which are the customer’s responsibility.
Ammunition And Accessory Shipping
Non-serialized products such as optics, parts, accessories, and gear may ship directly to your residential or business address where legally permitted.
Ammunition shipments must comply with carrier and hazardous material regulations. Certain locations may restrict ammunition deliveries. We reserve the right to limit or cancel ammunition orders where shipping is prohibited.
State And Local Restrictions
Firearm, magazine, and ammunition laws vary by state and locality. It is the customer’s responsibility to understand and comply with all laws in their area before placing an order.
We do not ship products that are restricted or prohibited in certain jurisdictions. Orders may be canceled or modified if they violate local regulations. Examples of restrictions may include:
Magazine capacity limits
Firearm feature restrictions
Ammunition type limitations
Local permitting requirements
If we cannot legally ship a product to your location, we will notify you.
Shipping Methods And Carriers
We use reputable carriers that comply with firearm and hazardous material shipping regulations. Shipping methods are selected based on product type, destination, and legal requirements.
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on:
Package size and weight
Shipping distance
Insurance value
Carrier requirements
Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by carriers, weather, or regulatory issues are outside of our control.
Signature Requirements
Certain items, including firearms and high-value orders, may require an adult signature upon delivery. This helps ensure secure and lawful receipt of regulated products.
Failure to accept delivery or missed delivery attempts may result in additional shipping fees.
Lost, Stolen, Or Damaged Shipments
Once an order leaves our facility, the carrier assumes responsibility for delivery. If a package is lost or damaged in transit, customers must contact the carrier to begin a claim.
Customers may be required to:
Report the issue within a reasonable timeframe
Provide photos or documentation
Cooperate with carrier investigations
We are not responsible for theft or loss after confirmed delivery to the provided address or receiving FFL.
Returns Related To Shipping
If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, failure to coordinate with the receiving FFL, or refusal of delivery, additional shipping charges may apply. Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and completing transfers promptly.
In-Store Pickup
Customers who prefer to pick up eligible items locally may do so at our retail location after receiving confirmation that the order is ready. Firearms will still require completion of all required background checks and transfer procedures before release.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be canceled before shipment at our discretion. Once an item has shipped, cancellation is no longer possible. We reserve the right to cancel orders that violate laws, contain pricing errors, or cannot be fulfilled.
Policy Updates
This Shipping Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in regulations, carrier requirements, or business operations. Updates will be posted on this page. Continued purchases indicate acceptance of the current policy terms.
